Especially for Architects, Builders, Contractors & Developers
We are builders. Since 1983 we have been building custom designed houses and decks. We understand what customers want and we know how to deliver customer satisfaction. That is why we invented EBTY Hidden Deck Fasteners. Decks are a smart investment. Almost one third of home owners think a deck is "essential" and over 80% would like to have one, according to a survey conducted by the National Association of Home Builders.
|"We are architects and construction managers. Our firm is based on the island of Nantucket, Mass. We get a lot of wind-driven rain and water exposure. We use EB-TY Hidden Deck Fasteners because they don't deteriorate in our salt-water environment. They extend the life of the deck. EB-TY deck fasteners are a great product, and we constantly encourage others to use them."

No matter what style deck you create, innovative, award-winning EBTY® Hidden Deck FastenersTM ensure uniform, clean lines that highlight the beauty of the decking. Our fasteners avoid the problems that nails and screws can createcreaky decks, splinters, pop ups, puddle areas and rusting as well as damage from moisture seeping into the deck through nail holes.
Made in the USA of ultra-violet resistant polypropylene, EB-TY Hidden Deck Fasteners can not rust; they are guaranteed for 100 years under normal use. There is an EBTY fastener for every type of wood or composite.
EBTY fasteners are virtually invisible - above or below the deck. The dark color of the fasteners blends with the shadow of the joints.
EBTY fasteners installed in hardwoods save labor over other fastening techniques, straight screws, screws and plugs, or under mount installations. And installation requires only one EBTY fastener and one screw at each intersection of deck board and joist. Additionally, when you use EBTY Hidden Deck Fasteners, you can work from the top surface which enables you to design decks as close to the ground as you want.
Our fasteners automatically set even 3/32" or 1/4" spacing between deck boards, and ensure that all deck boards are at a level, uniform height. The EBTY Hidden Deck Fasteners are black biscuits that are inserted into slots or kerfs cut by a biscuit joiner, or router bit, at each joist. One stainless steel #7 2-1/4" screw holds each biscuit tight, and after applying beads of exterior construction glue to each joist, the next deck board slips over the exposed EBTY fasteners. It's fast and easy.
|"We have a construction company, and we specialize in decks. Using EB-TY Fasteners cuts our production time by 40 percent, because we don't need to screw down the top boards. We can go as fast as the biscuits can be installed. EB-TY's systems save us money, and so they save our clients' money, too. Safety is also a definite factor: Customers like the fact that, with EB-TY, there are no nails, so the decks are safe to walk on barefoot. And our customers love how the finished decks look."

Nails and screws rust. No matter how carefully you work, there can be unsightly pop-ups and splinters that become safety hazards and result in callbacks. Callbacks can be very expensive - in both time and customer goodwill lost. A callback can cost you more than it would have cost to install EBTY fasteners.
EBTY fasteners are the most reliable and durable fasteners on the market today. They protect your clients' investments and save time and money over the long term. EBTY Hidden Deck Fasteners are the Builders' Choice for creating decks that customers love and enjoy for years.
|"Our overall experience using EB-TY Hidden Fastening Systems with new and renovated deck projects is fantastic. And, I save time and money by not having call-backs as the EB-TY allows the woods and composites to expand and contract without popping nails or screws. The quality of our finished building projects is unmatched in the Milwaukee Metro area."
